COMMITTEES AND ACTIVITIES
Brookville-Seminary Valley Civic Association, Inc. (BSVCA) has numerous committees and activities to become involved in, and we’re open to ideas for possible new ones.  In addition, your suggestions on issues that the BSVCA should consider focusing on in 2008 would be greatly appreciated.  So, please let us know how you would like to be involved and what issues are important to you by completing this form.

Committees and Activities
Neighborhood Events:  Organizes BSVCA activities, including:

Beautification Contest: Planning will begin in early 2008 for the contest to be held in the Spring.


Neighborhood Night Out: Planning will begin in Spring 2008 for the event to be held in August.


Taney Mile Long Yard Sale: Planning will begin in Spring for the Yard Sale to be held in September.


Holiday Children's Party: Planning will begin in Summer for the Party to be held in December.

Holmes Run Park Clean-Up:  Clean-up events are held in the Spring and Fall.
Membership:  Performs membership outreach, development, and organizational activities.
Newsletter:  Assists in writing articles for The Citizen, the BSVCA’s quarterly newsletter.
Nominations:  Recommends slate of candidates for BSVCA Board positions and runs election at October meeting.
Residential Redevelopment:  Monitors issues affecting neighborhood building character (e.g., City code changes).
Traffic Calming:  Meets to discuss ways to improve safety and traffic in our neighborhood.
Website:  Works on website development issues.

Growth and Development (e.g., Landmark Mall redevelopment)
